NEW DELHI: A day after the devastating fire at a four-storey building in Mundka in west Delhi, officials and families were having a difficult time identifying the 27 bodies – 21 women and six men – since all of them are charred. By the end of the day, only eight bodies had been identified. The rest, besides some of the ones already identified, may have to undergo DNA profiling for confirmation.
The vicitims who have been identified are Tania Bhushan, Mohini Pal, Yashoda Devi, Ranju Devi, Vishal, Drishti, Kailash Jyani and his son, Amit Jayani. Sources said it was Jyani who had come to deliver a motivational lecture to the employees when the fire broke out.
